Don’t be afraid to speak up and share your opinion- even if it isn’t the same as everyone else in the room. Being assertive is a positive thing and can help you discover what makes you unique!

Go for it, do not be afraid to ‘break the mold’ we need more women in this field.

Donāt ever let anyone tell you that you canāt do it. I had a male teacher at school who told me I couldnāt study architecture because āwomen didnāt have the right kind of brainā. Women make brilliant scientists, engineers, and designers! It can be a bit scary to speak up in a room full of old men (!), or in a room full of people who donāt look like you. You have to believe in yourself and try to be brave and just go for it!
