Yes! I spent lots of time travelling to National Trust sites, including beautiful country houses. I normally have to drive as they’re in the countryside. I also travel to London for meetings quite often too. I really enjoy travelling for my job as I get to see lots of different places and meet interesting people.

I sometimes travel across the UK for my job, but not as much since the pandemic! I get to do events at schools and community venues in Edinburgh. We have a work van that we can fit lots of things in and drive to places in Scotland! Sometimes I get to go along to meetings in other towns and cities. We have laboratories near Oxford and Warrington and offices in Swindon. I sometimes travel to these places to meet with the rest of our team. It is nice to meet in person as well as online! 🙂

A simple no. But in a strange way that is why I love my job. I see a woodland change from hour to hour, day to day, and season to season

Yes! I get to travel to the Antarctic for 2 months every year. It’s really exciting and you meet lots of interesting people doing really cool jobs.
